How to use Perfect Drop
- Hold the bottle less than 4 inches from the open eye.
- Press the pump once and allow the mist to spray for up to 5 seconds.
- Avoid touching the nozzle to the eye, eyelids, fur, or any other surface.
- Use as often as needed or as directed by your veterinarian.
If your pet wears a bandage contact lens, ask your veterinarian when and how to use Perfect Drop.
Ingredients
Purified water, castor oil, natural propolis, aloe vera and chamomile extracts in a proprietary blend, glycerin, sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, disodium EDTA, and sodium hyaluronate.
People and animals with a known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient should not use the product.

The science behind the castor oil
Perfect Drop incorporates emulsified castor oil at the same concentration and uses the same emulsification approach evaluated in published human research.
In a small randomized, double-masked, placebo-controlled human study involving noninflamed obstructive meibomian gland dysfunction, the tested homogenized castor-oil formulation significantly improved symptoms, tear-film stability, tear evaporation, and meibomian-gland opening obstruction compared with placebo. No complications attributable to the drops were reported during the study.

Research involving Vizoovet formulations
- A 2020 pilot study involving 20 dogs with keratoconjunctivitis sicca compared a Vizoovet formulation with GenTeal. Both were administered alongside tacrolimus. Both groups improved, with no significant difference between them and no reported adverse effects.
- A 2022 study involving 120 dogs evaluated a Vizoovet formulation as supportive care following a veterinary corneal procedure. The Vizoovet group experienced a shorter healing time than the historical control group.
