VIZOOVET® Perfect Drop is a sterile, preservative-free veterinary ocular lubricant delivered as a fine, metered mist. It is designed to support ocular-surface moisture while offering an alternative for pets that resist a conventional bottle tip near the eye.
Why administration method matters
Traditional drops often require the caregiver to steady the muzzle, tilt the head and hold an eyelid open while placing the drop without touching the eye. A labeled ocular mist can be applied without bringing a dropper tip close to the cornea, which may make the routine easier for some pets and caregivers.

Formulation and research context
Perfect Drop incorporates emulsified castor oil at the same concentration and uses the same emulsification approach evaluated in published human research. The formula also includes sodium hyaluronate, an ophthalmic lubricant used to support surface hydration.
That published research supports the formulation rationale; it was not a clinical trial of Perfect Drop in pets and does not establish identical outcomes. Manufacturer testing reports that the VIZOOVET metered sprayer produces droplets of approximately 60 nm after actuation. This describes the device output, not particles pre-formulated in the liquid, and particle size alone does not prove clinical superiority.
How to apply Perfect Drop
- Wash and dry your hands and follow the package priming instructions.
- Hold the bottle about 4 inches from the eye.
- Aim carefully and fully depress the pump for the labeled metered dose.
- Do not touch the applicator to the eye, fur, fingers or another surface.
- Replace the cap and follow the label for storage and discard timing.
